Rakhee Patel

Rakhee has had a varied career working across general dental practice, care homes, community dental services and academia. In 2014 she was successful in her application for a prestigious NIHR Doctoral Research Fellowship with the Fluoride Interventions in Care Homes Trial (FInCH)*. On completing her speciality training she was appointed to an NHS Consultant role part time whilst she completed her PhD working across KCL and NHSE London Region.

Rakhee is interested in health services research in the areas of ageing well, social care and Gerodontology. She is resolved to delivering research impact with outstanding results and engaging entrepreneurship and innovation to inform and influence change.
