Our vision of ‘Oral Health for All'

BDIA Dental Showcase is delighted to announce Professor Tim Newton as a speaker at the upcoming event. Acting in his role as President of the Oral Health Foundation, Tim shares an insight into what delegates can expect from his session:

“For the Oral Health Foundation, I hope to give the audience an overview of how we, as a charity, are seeking to work towards our vision of ‘Oral Health for All’, through three kinds of activities: providing access to oral health resources for the public; working with partners to ensure they have the resources they need to support people to improve their oral health; and working towards policy change that will enhance oral health.

“It is a tragedy that we have high levels of poor oral health, particularly among children when the diseases of the teeth and gums are preventable.

“I hope to improve delegates’ understanding of how we can support them in enhancing oral health, and ignite a desire to work with us at the Oral Health Foundation towards ‘Oral Health for All’
