Zain Hameed

Zain serves as the Senior Clinical Policy Manager within the Office of the Chief Dental Officer for England. Through this role, he has contributed towards national workstreams aiming to improve the experiences of dentistry and oral health for patients and colleagues. This includes looking at patient safety, wellbeing of oral healthcare teams, system reform and sustainability. He also enjoys supporting local communities, delivering key messages on prevention, addressing health inequalities and assisting both early years and aspiring dentists in their career journeys, through charitable organisations. Alongside this, Zain is a member of the GDC Dental Leadership Network Working Group, helping to plan multiple events throughout the year on various pertinent themes, to help facilitate positive changes in ways of working amongst the oral healthcare profession.
