Simon Stone

Simon qualified from Newcastle University in 2006 and has subsequently undertaken a variety of clinical, research and teaching roles. He completed his PhD and speciality training in endodontics before taking up his current role in 2017. He is a Senior Clinical Lecturer/Honorary Consultant at Newcastle University and Newcastle upon Tyne Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust. He splits his time between clinical and skills teaching, clinical referral practice and research. He is a member of the Specialist Advisory Committee in Restorative Dentistry and the British Endodontic Society Council. He has co-authored a number of endodontic and restorative research papers and book chapters in well known textbooks including Harty's Endodontics, Master Dentistry, Paediatric Dentistry, and Extra-Coronal Restorations.
