Shaun Dolby
I hold a BSc in Biochemistry and Genetics from the University of Nottingham (2011) and completed graduate-entry dentistry at King’s College London in 2015. After finishing my Dental Foundation Training (DFT) within the East Midlands scheme, I undertook Dental Core Training (DCT) years 1 and 2 in Oral Surgery and Oral & Maxillofacial Surgery (OMFS) within the Yorkshire Deanery, during which I also achieved my MJDF qualification.
From 2018 to 2024, I served as a Specialty Doctor in the OMFS department at James Cook University Hospital. Currently, I am pursuing a Leadership and Management Fellowship in Oral Surgery, working across Queen Elizabeth Hospital Birmingham and NHS Midlands. My ambition is to progress to a specialist training program in oral surgery.
My professional interests include oral surgery, managing medically compromised patients, and providing urgent dental care.
