Sharif graduated from the University of Edinburgh in 1992 and completed extensive training in Implantology at the Eastman Dental Institute, University College London, in 1999. In 2003, after four years of advanced postgraduate study, he was awarded a Master of Clinical Dentistry in Fixed and Removable Prosthodontics from King’s College London. His dissertation, The Optimisation of Aesthetics with Implant‑Supported Restorations, examined methods for enhancing aesthetic outcomes in implant dentistry. He has further developed his clinical expertise through NobelGuide training at Clinica Malo in Lisbon, X‑Guide live navigation training in Zurich, and ongoing digital implant dentistry training at Studio Pozzi in Rome. His principal clinical interest is the management of the terminal dentition using a comprehensive digital workflow, incorporating software planning, navigated surgery and photogrammetry.
