Sarah Murray

Sarah, a qualified dental hygienist and dental therapist, has had a distinguished career in both clinical practice and dental education. She became Programme Lead for the Diploma in Dental Hygiene and Therapy in 1997 and developed the BSc in Oral Health in 2019. Sarah has been influential in shaping the national profile of dental hygienists and therapists, including working on various educational initiatives including the HEE dental exemptions training. She has received numerous accolades, including being awarded an MBE in 2017 for her services to oral health.
