Robert Middlefell

I am National Professional Adviser to the CQC. One of my main roles is to reflect what’s going on in dentistry back to CQC and vice versa. My role is incredibly varied, and no two days are the same. I believe having a strong clinical voice in to the day to day and strategic aspects of regulation is important.

 As well as my role with CQC, I am the owner of 2 mixed practices in Gloucestershire, making me very much aware of the challenges facing all of us in the profession at the moment.

 I continue to work clinically as well as being secretary to Gloucestershire LDC and BDA GDPC rep for Gloucestershire.
