Rebecca Silver

Rebecca is a multi- award winning dental nurse who has over 15 years of experience in dentistry, with a strong focus on the education and training of dental nurses. She has obtained additional qualifications in Oral Health Education, Dental Sedation Nursing, and a foundation degree in Advanced Dental Nursing. She also holds a Master’s degree in Advanced and Specialist Healthcare Applied to Dental Practice.  Rebecca has further enhanced her expertise by gaining a Level 3 Award in Education and the highly sought-after CAVA qualification.

As the founder of Dental Nurse Guru, a training business designed specifically for dental nurses in practice, Rebecca has been instrumental in advancing dental nurse education - most recently as a tutor, delivering training for Dental Sedation and Fluoride Application post-registration certificates. She also created and delivered a Treatment Coordinator Course on behalf of Smile Dental Academy. She has become a speaker for NHS England and has delivered webinars to members of the dental team and also year 11-13 students. 

She regularly volunteers on behalf of Dentaid and their BrightBites programme and Christmas 2024 she worked with Dentaid again to deliver oral health care in partnership with Crisis. 

A long time BADN member, Rebecca is now on the BADN Panel of Representatives, working to support the future of dental nurses.
