Rebecca Silver

Rebecca is a multi- award winning dental nurse who has over 16 years of experience in dentistry, with a strong focus on the education and training of dental nurses. She has obtained additional qualifications in Oral Health Education, Dental Sedation Nursing, and a foundation degree in Advanced Dental Nursing. She also holds a Master’s degree in Advanced and Specialist Healthcare Applied to Dental Practice.  Rebecca has further enhanced her expertise by gaining a Level 3 Award in Education and the highly sought-after CAVA qualification.

As the founder of Dental Nurse Guru, a training business designed specifically for dental nurses in practice, Rebecca has been instrumental in advancing dental nurse education - most recently as a tutor, delivering training for Dental Sedation and Fluoride Application post-registration certificates. She also created and delivered a Treatment Coordinator Course on behalf of Smile Dental Academy. She has become a speaker for NHS England and has delivered webinars to members of the dental team and also year 11-13 students. 

She regularly volunteers on behalf of Dentaid and their BrightBites programme and Christmas 2024 she worked with Dentaid again to deliver oral health care in partnership with Crisis. 

Rebecca is on the reader panel for the BDJ team and Dental Nursing Journal.

A long time BADN member, Rebecca is the BADN Treasurer, and on the BADN Panel of Representatives, working to support the future of dental nurses.
