Rahul Patel

I qualified from Sheffield University almost 30 years ago and then worked in several general practices in Sheffield, Tamworth and Southwest London gaining extensive experience before buying a partnership in an independent mixed practice in Witney, Oxfordshire in April 2007. The partnership was sold in April 2025 and since September 2025 my practice is limited to Endodontics in the Oxfordshire area. In 2001 I undertook a part time PG Certificate course in Restorative Dentistry at the Eastman Dental Institute where I learnt to critically evaluate my dentistry in the various disciplines of restorative dentistry, and it was during this period that I developed an interest in endodontics. Since then, I have completed an MSc in Endodontics at QMUL. Currently I am the Honorary Treasurer for the British Endodontic Society, and from March will also take the position of the Vice chair for the Early Careers Group (ECG).
