Laura Marston

Laura was diagnosed with stage 4 tongue cancer in 2019 and underwent a total glossectomy that same year. Since then, she has become a dedicated advocate for oral cancer awareness,  mentoring patients globally, engaging actively on social media,  and serving as a trustee for the charity Young Tongues.

Speaking at events over the past few years,  Laura continues to share her experiences and insights with both patients and medical professionals. In 2021, her recipe book,  Eating with Confidence, was published for charity, designed to help oral cancer patients relearn how to eat.
