Karen Juggins

Miss Karen Juggins completed her orthodontic training at University Hospitals Oxford and UCL Eastman Dental Institute, obtaining her MSc with distinction in 2003 and Membership in Orthodontics in 2004. She gained the Intercollegiate Specialty Fellowship Examination in Orthodontics in 2006. Karen has been a Consultant Orthodontist at Royal Stoke University Hospital for 16 years. Her main clinical practice involves the management of complex multidisciplinary cases, particularly orthognathic treatment. Karen is the RCS Clinical Standards Representative for Orthodontics and the British Orthodontic Society Chair of Publications and Media. She is the brains behind the @KeepStokeSmiling social media campaign. Designed to engage and motivate patients, this local campaign to promote good oral health has become a nationwide phenomenon. In March 2022 Karen was awarded the prestigious Colyer Gold Medal by the Royal College of Surgeons of England.
