Josette Camilleri

Head of Dentistry, University of Birmingham
Josette Camilleri is a Clinical Professor of Endodontics and Applied Materials at the University of Birmingham and also Head of Dentistry. She has trained as a dentist at the University of Malta and furthered her education to PhD under the supervision of Prof Tom Pitt Ford. She has researched extensively hydraulic cements for use in clinical endodontics which has resulted in over 170 papers in peer reviewed international journals which are very well cited. She is ranked internationally as a clinical academic and a material scientist. Josette runs the MSc Endodontics program at the University of Birmingham. She is an international speaker having delivered over 120 keynotes invited by specialist societies. She is the first recipient of the Louis Grossman award by the French Endodontic Society.
