Divyash Patel

Divyash Patel is a current NHS dental services provider, general dental practitioner. These roles have been held for over 25 years.

He is the Clinical Policy Lead for the Office of the Chief Dental Officer (Executive team) with NHS England. He is responsible for developing national clinical strategy and policy, to improve dental health outcomes for the people of England in line with the NHS mandate, and the NHS Long term Plan.

His portfolio of work has focused on improving patients' care to ensure they receive the highest quality of clinically effective dental care in with current good practice. He has led on the production of Commissioning Standard: Dental Care for People with Diabetes, Avoidance of doubt: Provision of phased treatments and Clinical Standard for Urgent Dental Care.
