Dr Debbie Reed is a Reader and lead in Faculty Development at the Faculty of Life Science and Medicine, Kings College London. An academic and Doctor of Education (Nottingham), her educational and research work, including the 2023 Dental Nurse Retention Survey, has been impactful, providing practical application and transformational opportunities, across the dental sector.

Bestowed with the British Association of Dental Nurses’ Outstanding Contribution to Professional Practice Award, she was also the inaugural recipient of the Royal College of Surgeons (UK) award for Dental Care Professionals. Debbie is an elected Fellow of College of General Dentistry (CGDent), and the current Chair of CGDent’s Faculty of Dental Nursing and Orthodontic Therapy.
