David McEwan

David has a broad, multi-specialist corporate practice including general mergers & acquisitions, private equity transactions, public equity transactions (including initial public offerings, rights issues, placings and secondary placings and public takeovers), joint ventures and other kinds of "relationship" agreements (often cross-border), and all kinds of corporate reconstructions and amalgamations. He has acted for clients across many industry sectors (including financial services, consumer goods and healthcare). In recent years he has concentrated his practice in the healthcare sector, particularly the dental sector where he has acted for dentists buying and selling dental practices, and become an expert in the law and regulation applying to dental practices as well as the structuring of complex transactions in conjunction with leading the dental accountants and banks. He recently acted for the partners of the Alpha Group on its investment by Riverdale.
