Aws Alani BDS MFDS MSc FDSRCS Eng LLM MFDT RCS FHEA FCGDent Aws is an Associate Professor in Restorative Dentistry at Peninsula Dental School and Consultant in Restorative Dentistry at Kings College Hospital. His clinical roles include the rehabilitation of patients with hypodontia and dental trauma. He is Programme Director of the MSc in Endodontics at Plymouth and the Diploma in Operative Dentistry at Kings College London. Aws qualified from KCL in 2003 and held junior hospital positions at Guy's Hospital and King's College Hospital, before completing an MSc in Endodontics at the Eastman. In 2013, Aws became the ITI Scholar in Toronto, Canada. He returned to the UK in 2014 as consultant at Kings College Hospital. He has published over 50 peer review articles, two books and maintains an interest in training and researching niche areas within restorative dentistry.
