Practice Owners' Lounge

A private area on the show floor for the exclusive use of attendees with ‘Practice Owner’ as their job title. A mixture of comfortable lounge seating for relaxing, combined with more formal furniture for meetings to be conducted. Free refreshments will be available throughout the show from within the lounge, along with charging points, Showcase TV and copies of The Dentist and Dental Update and other goodies.

As the largest show in UK dentistry, BDIA Dental Showcase offers a number of opportunities for practice owners. Dedicated sessions

Across the Showcase theatres will be a stream of sessions tackling some of the most important topics pertinent to owning a practice in this age of modern dentistry. Topics include: Leadership; Preparing your practice for sale; Mental health and wellbeing; Employee engagement; Marketing; Purchasing advice (for buying a practice) and more.

Meet the speaker

Attendees to the above-mentioned sessions will be invited back to the Practice Owners’ Lounge where the speaker will be on hand to discuss the topic in a more intimate setting.

VIP Breakfast Briefings

Practice owners will be invited to attend early morning sessions on each day of the show. Attend a hard-hitting business forum and the latest market insight from a range of authoritative figures, network with your fellow owners and enjoy pastries and other refreshments.

Networking drinks reception

For the final hour of each day, owners will be exclusively invited to join their peers back in the Practice Owners’ Lounge for informal networking and a range of beer, wine and soft drinks.

Meetings tool

Time is precious as a practice owner; therefore, a meeting tool will be on hand to enable owners to schedule one-on-one meetings with fellow attendees and exhibitors alike. Meetings can take place in the lounge in which practice owners have exclusive access.

Practice owner ‘concierge’ service

Whether you want to book your sessions, register your whole practice team or simply need guidance on travel advice to the NEC, our dedicated customer service line for Practice Owners will ensure you can get the very best service at your convenience, allowing you to concentrate on running your business, your patients and prepare for the show. The customer service team will also be in touch ahead of the show to ensure you have everything you need.

Fast track entry

Practice owners will be able to enjoy fast track entry into the show using their VIP invitation and the badge sent out in advance to beat the queues at the show. Those attending the early morning Breakfast Briefings will have exclusive early access to the event and can gain entry via the dedicated VIP lane in the registration area.

VIP Goody Bags and competitions

All practice owners who attend the Lounge will receive a free ‘goody bag’ containing key information about relevant content to them as an owner at the show. Details of sessions they should attend, special events and competitions etc. Within the bag there will also be special offers from exhibitors, exclusively available to practice owners.

Prize draw

All attending practice owners will be entered into a draw to win a number of prizes donated by exhibitors. In 2018, Dr Pavan Bopanna of The Butts Dental in Brentford was the lucky winner of a FormLabs Form 2 3d printer for his practice – what could you win this year?

Special offers

In the run up to the show, Practice Owners will receive details of special offers from exhibitors tailored to their requirements. These will be sent out every fortnight in the last couple months from the event, to allow owners to make the most of the deals on offer.
