The BDIA and MA Exhibitions confirm new long-term partnership agreement
In a year when trade shows are facing immense challenges, the BDIA and MA Exhibitions are looking further ahead to when the dental industry and profession can unite face to face once again. Building on their existing close relationship, the British Dental Industry Association (BDIA) and MA Exhibitions are delighted to announce a newly reinforced long-term partnership.
“We want to build on this rich heritage and feel privileged to continue to support the dental profession through their annual show. Our mission with BDIA Dental Showcase - supported by Mark Allen’s portfolio of leading dental publications, including Dental Update, The Dentist and Dental Nursing - is to deliver a world-class experience for all, giving unrivalled access to the best suppliers and latest learning opportunities in dentistry.”
- Tim Willoughby, MD, MA Exhibitions
The dental profession has learnt much over the course of the last year, having had to adapt to the drastically changing environment caused by COVID-19. We have all had to change how we do things, and this new chapter is built on greater collaboration, creativity and putting the profession first. When the time for face-to-face events returns, we are confident that BDIA Dental Showcase will be bigger and better than ever, as we continue to highlight the latest developments and innovations that support the UK dental profession today and safeguard practices for the future.
“The BDIA is pleased to take this opportunity to build on its relationship with MA Exhibitions so we can continue to work together to deliver dentistry’s premier event. As the BDIA edges towards 100 years old it is good that as a family-owned business, Mark Allen Exhibitions can take a longer-term view. They are proud to nurture Dental Showcase’s trusted relationships with the dental profession, developed over many years, making them the perfect long-term partner for the BDIA.”
- Edmund Proffitt, Chief Executive, BDIA
The BDIA Dental Showcase Advisory Board took the decision not to stage a physical event in 2021, which means that the next BDIA Dental Showcase will take place on 25 – 26 March 2022 at ExCeL, London. A March 2022 show will support dentistry at the right time and ensure BDIA Dental Showcase comes back bigger and better than ever before.
BDIA Dental Showcase On Demand is a new online experience, designed to help keep dentists and their teams connected and engaged with suppliers in the absence of the live show. This takes place on 22 – 26 March 2021. For more information, visit: ondemand.dentalshowcase.com.
