Microwave Pulp Vitality Tester

The MPVT is a breakthrough device in dental diagnostics that analyses blood flow in the tooth pulp. Unlike competing laser Doppler flowmeters, which are not only expensive but also complicated to use, the MPVT offers a simple, fast and precise diagnosis by applying the tester to the tooth, without the need for impressions or other procedures. The measurement is taken within 30 seconds. After this time, the result can be read, which is recorded on a 5-point scale giving an accurate indication of the level of blood flow in the tooth pulp. An additional advantage of the MPVT device is that it is wireless and mobile, so it can be used virtually anywhere and is an extremely useful tool in the daily work of any dentist.

The MPVT has already been subjected to three clinical trials, the results of which are pleasing to the engineers and soon the device may also serve users.
