Show "case study" live - an interactive insight into contemporary care planning for the oral healthcare team

14 Mar 2026
BDIA Main Stage, in partnership with Dental Update

Join and interact with an expert oral healthcare team panel to discuss minimum intervention oral care planning in primary care

Our panel of experts will present a patient case scenario commonly seen in primary care. They will describe the care planning journey, debating and discussing decisions with you, the audience, at every step of the way to give all oral healthcare team members an insight into the salutogenic prevention-based, person-focused, susceptibility-related and team-delivered minimum intervention oral care (MIOC) delivery framework.  The panel will discuss all aspects of care along the patient journey - how to make decisions, note-taking, working as a team and incorporating medico/legal considerations (what happens if we do something different!), patient behaviour, prevention and the wider practice management aspects of whole patient care.

Take a seat in the audience, mobile phones at the ready to cast your votes, and join us to re-engage the clinical brain, and ignite your personal motivations and passion for dentistry in primary care.
