Basic Life Support & Medical Emergencies Training
Objectives:
1. Learners will develop the knowledge and practical skills needed to identify early signs of patient deterioration and take timely, appropriate action to prevent further decline.
2. Learners will increase their awareness and understanding of the physiological, psychological, and environmental needs of deteriorating patients, enabling them to deliver safe, person‑centred care.
3. Learners will gain a clear understanding of common medical emergencies and current resuscitation practices, equipping them with the confidence to respond rapidly and safely in emergency situations.
Aims: Provide you with sufficient knowledge and skills to be able to recognise and respond to signs of clinical deterioration. Promote awareness and understanding in the needs and care of the deteriorating patient. Provide you with a clear understanding and management of medical emergencies and resuscitation
