Trusted and effective – a strategy for dental regulation

Session aims:

Tom will describe how the GDC will champion a model of regulation that supports professionalism, enables learning, and resolves issues quickly and proportionately. He will explain the GDCs ambition to regulate in a way that promotes learning over fear - supporting the dental team to demonstrate professionalism.

Objectives:

• Increased understanding of the GDCs strategy and vision for 2026 - 2028.
• Increased awareness of the GDC's priorities for the next three years 
• Increased understanding of how the change in the way the GDC plans to regulate will affect dental professionals
