The Role of the Oral Health Practitioner in Modern Oral Healthcare; delivering preventive holistic care for the patient in practice and for those in the local community

Objectives: 
        1. Describe the skillset of an individual with the Oral Health Practitioner qualification 

        2. Create a protocol for utilisation of the practitioner within the oral healthcare team 

        3. Implement this protocol within general practice and out in the community 

Aims:  The session offers delegates an insight into the route a dental nurse can use to progress in their profession to successfully achieve this qualification, and how they might be utilised as part of a prevention-focused practice.
