The Art and Science of Immediate Implants. Anteriors, Premolars and Molars
Dr Zaki’s lecture will take you on a journey from the days of delayed implant placement to the evolving field of immediate implants, a critical aspect of modern implantology, that offers numerous benefits to both patients and clinicians. This lecture will provide an overview of immediate implants from their planning to placement, to provisionalisation, to completion. Cutting-edge techniques such as partial extraction therapies, soft and hard tissue adjunctive grafting and factors influencing long-term success will all be touched on. Whilst immediate implants were initially reserved for cases in the aesthetic zone, they are now all encompassing, being carried out in both premolar and molar sites. Attendees will leave with a deeper understanding of how to integrate immediate implants into their daily practice including customised healing abutments and immediate crowns to achieve superior patient outcomes.
