The Office of the Chief Dental Officer England – what we’ve done and where we’re going

Objectives:

• An understanding of the recent work from the Office of the Chief Dental Officer
• Further knowledge of dental leadership structures and how they contribute to improvements within the profession
• An appreciation of the current priorities of the Office of the Chief Dental Officer

Session aims:  During this session the recent clinical guidance published by the Office of the Chief Dental Officer (OCDO) will be introduced. The wider oral healthcare priorities for the OCDO team will be outlined and an explanation of the remit of OCDO in relation to other healthcare professional structures will be given.
