The ‘Dental Practice of the Future’ will be a hive of activity on the show floor. It will offer dental professionals the opportunity to discover next-generation equipment and technology whilst engaging with authoritative experts on the hottest topics in dentistry.
The purpose built dental surgery, made possible by our sponsors, offers the opportunity for delegates to experience state-of-the-art equipment within a practice setting. It boasts a reception centre and patient information zone, a clinical surgery and a fully compliant, dedicated decontamination room. Designed to include seating for 150 delegates, the feature doubles up as a lecture theatre and throughout Showcase will include presentations from authorities within the profession. Presentations taking place at the surgery will include keynotes on the future of dentistry, live demonstrations on how to handle medical emergencies, ergonomics, innovations in X-ray, 3D printing, how to make the right purchasing decisions and many more.
As well as lectures on medical emergencies, radiology and career progression, the lecture programme includes the GDC and CQC discussing regulatory change and the BDA will give a talk on the increased importance of professional associations in the years to come. Throughout the event there will be debates and interactive demonstrations. So, for a complete picture of what dentistry is set to look like, all delegates should visit this new feature to Dental Showcase.
All attendees will be able to augment their CPD points with a wide range of thought provoking, enlightening, entertaining and challenging presentations. Again, the opportunities will be in a variety of formats, from panel discussions to lectures and from live demonstrations to walkarounds.
The futuristic surgery will be open for general browsing when not in use for planned lectures. All the kit within the theatre is kindly provided by exhibitors at the show, any visitors interested in the equipment will be able to head to the relevant stand to find out more.
