Aesthetic restorative dentistry: A practical guide

This lecture will provide an update of the latest materials, equipment and clinical techniques for predictable, enjoyable aesthetic restorative dentistry. Lecture content will consist entirely of a comprehensive range of clinical case examples designed to provide delegates with practical tips for posterior and anterior composites (including bulk fill and layering techniques) and for minimally invasive indirect restorations, including porcelain veneers, all-ceramic crowns and adhesive bridgework.

Aim:

To provide an update of the latest materials, equipment and clinical techniques for predictable, enjoyable aesthetic restorative dentistry.

Learning Objectives:

By the end of this lecture delegates will be able to demonstrate understanding of aesthetic restorative procedures including:

  • Posterior composites (including bulk fill materials)
  • Anterior composites (including polychromatic layering techniques)
  • Direct restoration of endodontically treated teeth
  • Minimally invasive porcelain veneers
  • Minimally invasive crown and bridgework
Learning outcome:

By the end of this lecture delegates will be able to enhance patient care by optimizing all clinical stages of aesthetic direct and indirect restorative procedures.
